The Clown Club was established in 1995 with the aim of supporting and
encouraging an intercultural learning process between children, their
parents and the educational staff. We do this in an environment that offers
the child, both physically and social-emotional safety and security and
invites the child to develop optimally through play. The Clown Club is open
weekdays from 7:00am-6:30pm. The Clown Club accommodates up to 76
children divided into 6 groups. The number of children per group is set
according to the CAO standard for Childcare. If less children than the
maximum group size are present (for example, during vacation periods or
understaffing of groups) a staff member works alone or groups can be
merged. Groups may also be merged during certain activities, such as
outdoor play. In this case (when children leave the core group during
activities), the maximum size of the core group is temporarily abandoned.
This means that sometimes more children can therefore be present in a
group room. The Clown Club is on an all-inclusive basis. Diapers, wipes,
fruit, meals and so on are provided from here. Only powdered milk we ask
that you bring from home due to the many different brands.
