Your child in trusted hands

As a parent, you entrust us with the most precious thing: your child. We take that seriously. That’s why we not only provide a safe and stimulating environment for your child, but also open and clear communication with you as a parent. We believe in short lines of communication and personal contact. The door is always literally open.

Everything you need to know for a good start

We do everything we can to give you and your child a warm welcome. From the initial introductory meeting to getting used to the group: we take our time.

Here you can read all about:

  • ^Drop-off and pick-up

Food that nourishes – and connects

We believe healthy food is important. We work with a changing seasonal menu, using as many fresh products as possible. Think of fruit moments, vegetables with the hot lunch, and space for children to make their own sandwiches. This way they playfully learn about healthy eating and independence.

Short lines of communication, open contact

We think it is important that you know how your child is doing. Via the Konnect Parent app you will receive a daily report with photos and short updates. In addition, we are always open for a chat when picking up or dropping off. Prefer to call or email? That is also possible. It’s all about openness and trust.

Parent committee

We like to work with parents to improve the quality of our care. In the parent committee, parents contribute ideas on themes such as nutrition, activities and the pedagogical policy. Would you like to contribute ideas? Please let us know!

Celebrating together, growing together

We think it is important to teach children that everyone is unique. That is why we celebrate our differences and similarities. Annual highlights include:

  • ^International Day – a festival full of flavors and cultures
  • ^Playdates – meeting each other on Saturday mornings and meeting other parents
  • ^The Summer BBQ – for parents, children and team
  • ^...and much more!

What parents say about us

Parents often tell us that The Clown Club feels like an extension of home. “What I have found with you, you will not find so quickly,” we hear regularly. We like to collect these experiences in order to give new parents an idea of what makes us special.

Frequently asked questions

Notice period
K
L
If your child is absent for a day, please notify us before 9:00 AM on the same day to receive a credit. If you report the absence after 9:00 AM, you will not receive a credit. If you occasionally need extra childcare, you can submit a request in the KidsKonnect app. Payment can be made by invoice or, if available, with credit. Credits are valid for six months and will be processed approximately two weeks before the requested day. If there is no space in the group, you can be placed on the waiting list. If a spot becomes available, the request may still be approved. The credits are an additional service and can be viewed in the app.

Sick reports
K
L

Unfortunately, sick children cannot come to The Clown Club. If your child becomes ill during their stay, we will call you. We consider a child to be sick with a fever of 38.5°C or when a child does not feel well enough to participate. If in doubt, we always consult with parents. A child must be fever-free for 24 hours before they can return. We follow the GGD guidelines for childhood diseases. The complete 'Sick Children' protocol can be found on our website and in the KidsKonnect app.

Vacations
K
L
If your child is on vacation and therefore misses a day of care, we would like to receive this information no later than 9:00 AM on the day itself via the KidsKonnect app.
With timely cancellation, a credit will automatically be built up. These credits are also valid for six months and can be found in the app.

Please note: cancellations after 9:00 AM are not eligible for a credit. The accrued credits can be used for extra care at another time, provided there is space in the group.
Requests are assessed approximately two weeks before the desired date.

As with exchange days: we are happy to help, but extra care always depends on the group occupancy.
