What we offer

At The Clown Club, we offer much more than just childcare. We provide children with a place where they feel safe, seen, and free. A warm environment where learning through play is central and where there is attention for every child. Where structure and space for personal choices go hand in hand. Read below to find out what makes our offer so special.

Our groups

At The Clown Club, we work with horizontal groups, tailored to the age and developmental stage of your child. Each group is supervised by a permanent, experienced team. We consciously opt for small groups, so that there is real space for personal attention.

A day at The Clown Club

Our daily schedule offers support and peace of mind. At the same time, there is plenty of room for spontaneity, play and personal input. The Pedagogical Professionals always tailor our offer to the rhythm of the children and the group.
An average day looks something like this:

Reception and free play

We start the day quietly. Children are given time to say goodbye and find their own place

Joint fruit moment & circle

During this moment we come together. There is attention for each other, we sing, talk or read a short story.

Outdoor activities or, in bad weather, indoors

With creative themes, play and movement, children discover and learn through play, as much as possible in the open air.

Hot meal or lunch

Eating together creates a sense of conviviality and connection. We take the time for a healthy, nutritious meal.

Rest moments / sleeping

After the meal there is room for rest. Children who want to sleep can do so, others are given a quiet alternative.

Afternoon snack & play

After recharging, it’s time for a healthy snack and new game – indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather and the energy of the group.

Pick-up and transfer to parents

The day is closed quietly. When picking up, we share important moments of the day with the parents.

Healthy food

Healthy choices, every day.
We consciously choose healthy, fresh food:

  • Fresh fruit every day
  • A warm, vegetable-rich meal for the babies and toddlers
  • Sandwiches in the afternoon
  • Water and tea, no sugary drinks

Children learn to eat independently and are playfully involved in choosing and spreading their sandwich. Good food contributes to a good feeling!

A new menu every 3 months

 

Development & themes

Playing = learning.

With changing themes, we provide recognition and depth. We combine play, language, expression, arithmetic, music and movement into a rich daily program — tailored to the child’s experience.

Thanks to our collaboration with the library, we work with thematic book boxes, so that reading becomes a party from an early age.

Attention for the child

We really look at the children. What does this child need? What makes him or her happy? What helps to grow? Our Pedagogical Professionals observe daily and offer appropriate support.
They know every child — and parents feel that immediately.
